you see a crowd of friends at a party
huddled in a circle in the smallest of the garages.
talking while having a cigarette.
maybe under the influence
maybe going a little too far.
but just shrug it off and say,
its okay, theyll learn next time.
you see friends betray each other
and the fights they lead into.
thats all you can see though
and the lies are the ones that get to you.
all you can do is see
whats upon the surface.
there cover is a good one but its starting to slip.
you dont know much
accept whats being told
but to be honest.
not a whole lot is being said.
