Twin Peaks
After so many years of being berated by my film snob friends for never having seen any of the fruits of David Lynch's labor, I finally have a couchsurfer this weekend who has the first season of Twin Peaks on her laptop, which we have been watching.
I was always a bit leery of watching David Lynch stuff because I just thought it'd be purely weird for weirdness' sake, and who needs that? However, while it's all a bit out there, I have to say that, after 4 episodes, I'm kind of getting into the series. Not to mention that I can now join the hipsters and smile knowingly anytime some other television show references a "damn fine cup of coffee".
