Busiest weekend to date!
Started Friday night with getting half of the law mowed (front half facing the street), and FINALLY getting rid of my no-longer-used A/C unit that's been taking ups space in my garage. Thanks Tiggs & Angus!
Saturday was more mowing, and other various garden work, involving hedge trimmer, shovel, weed-whacker, garden hose, and an ant-hill relocation project, took up a good chunk of my day. It's been neglected for weeks due to family commitments and other sundry priorities, so I was glad to finally get 'er done. Shopping Saturday afternoon for a play-mobile for Rosalynde was probably the best thing we could have spent our money on. She loves the darned thing!
Sunday was the busiest of the weekend - House cleaning was the order of the day, with the vacuum on all 4 floors, dusting all surfaces, cleaning the forced air vents, washing the kitchen floor, counter tops... then there was laundry, followed by shopping for groceries. THEN there was my cousin's communion to go to.
By the time we got home, I was ready for bed - but had to do some KP for Monday night's supper (marinade for the beef).
Slept like crap Sunday-Monday. Forest fires north of Montreal have brought in a smoky haze and smell. My asthma no likey. An area about 1.5 times the island of Montreal has gone up in smoke - most of which has been carried down by the wind to the Montreal area. yay.
