Stress

Jan 14, 2010 08:13

It started on the weekend. Gradual at first, I wasn't sure what to make of it. It was a pain in my left arm, just below the shoulder. By Monday, it was hard to ignore, as it was begining to spread below my elbow. Pain relievers were having no effect. It didn't help that I had caught my wife's cold and was coughing up a lung. Ended up leaving work early to get home for some rest. Started getting a headache on the drive home. I wasn't there more than an hour before I decided to go to the clinic, with pregnant stressed out wife in tow.

They plugged me to a machine and did an ECG. Brought back to an observation room and I waited to hear the horrid news: There was nothing wrong with me. Other than me being stressed and having a possible mild case of neuralgia. Spent the next 2 days at home taking it easy.

I'm not feeling much better today though...
