I survived London! Whoop! I will post a pic as soon as I am able but I am rather technologically illiterate and it might take me a while! Will update more frequently from now on, I promise.

Wow, you are still here! I was getting really worried! Your Greek course sounds amazing, and like heaps of fun. I don't have time now to read the fics you posted, I'm about to go off to a 3 hour examination, I should really be studying! But I'll read them when I get back. I'm so glad you are around! Oh, and a tatoo? *squee* sounds lovely! I'll comment again when I've read the rest. I just wanted to say hi! *hugs&give flowers* *hugs again*

Well, let's see. I did get a few...

One of those I could possibly get away with but losing both would look like carelessness.”

"To lose one parent may be regarded as misfortune; to lose both looks like carelessness."

But the one about sobriety in moderation... Is that a Ciardi quote?

Anyway, then there was another from Dorian Gray:
"People like you--the wilful sunbeams of life--don't commit crimes, Dorian."

Damn, you are good! I saw a few others, but that first one has always been a favorite. Your description was flawless as always; the impression of decadence that it leaves... BEAUTIFUL!! You are sooooo good!

I sense a Wilde enthusiast! Wow, you found some of the more obscure ones but I must confess my own ignorance of Ciardi. Who's that?

So glad you liked the ficlet, thanks so much for commenting, love.

Heh. Yeah. I loff Mr. Wilde. John Ciardi was an American poet... died in the early 1980's, I think... Anyway, apparently he was a very quotable guy. I think his exact quote was "There is nothing wrong with sobriety in moderation." Hehe. I like that one. Oh! And by the way, I got my first tattoo on my foot too. That was over a year ago. I got stars across the top of my foot. Not many people put them there. I love mine. We should start a club; maybe the "Decorated Foot Society," or something. *winks* Tootles!

OMG you got a tattoo on your foot too?! We are so ahead of the times (you more than me, I bow to your foresight).

Ciardi sounds damn cool and I shall be checking him out.

We should definitely start a decorated foot society, I'll make badges and we can have marches and stuff. Yay!
