London in the summertime
I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I have a post ready to update with fic on it but it's not quite finished and so I'm just updating quickly to let you know that I'm ok but had a very lucky escape where the London bombing was concerned. I'll answer all comments to my last post as quickly as possible.
I was halfway to London when the attacks happened and fully intending on travelling the underground along the affected lines. Luckily finjeof and I missed our first train and were prevented from even getting into London. Had we caught that train or gone a day earlier, as we had intended, we would both have been caught by the first bomb, which detonated yards from our hotel. Needless to say we both can't believe how lucky we are.
To all you Londoners out there, I hope to God you're alright.
To the almighty bastards that did this, I hope to God that you get what you deserve.
