D'you know what conclusion I have come to? Teachers are bastards. I was with one of my favourite teachers today who was trying to demonstrate the way a lone dissenter can influence a majority and he asked me to 'pretend' that I was pro-homosexuality whilst he was going to try and persuade me to come round to his apparently feigned anti- ( Read more... )

hello! I suppose being on the opposite side of the world from england (that would be Australia) does count as being far away. that teacher of your sounds horrible, and I know that I'd hate to have a conversation like that with anyone who I know. I know my friends are okay with homosexuality (they are all lovely people) but there are a couple of guys in my class who are so scorning of gay people, when I listen to them I feel like getting up and punching them ( ... )

I'm in NSW, up near the Queensland border. Yeah, I heard that its hot over in Perth, poor you! Its usally boiling here, but its actully getting cool at night, such relief! Being in the semi tropics is nice, but god damn hot most of the time!

Nice to talk to someone else from Aus!

I hate people who are closed minded about homosexuality, it just makes me angry. Bastards. There are loads of them where I live and it sucks.

That is so cool about the solider, I love getting glimpses of a place’s history like that. It makes you wonder what happened to him and why he’s still there. I quite like ghosts even if I am scared shitless of them.

Omg I miss summer so much! It’s been alternately snowing and hailing recently and I have officially forgotten what sunshine looks like. It’s hot over there? I’m so jealous! And pale! You are so lucky, I would love to visit Australia someday, whereabouts do you live?
