I have loads and loads of comments to reply to, not to mention some long emails from my beloved flist, lots of internet research to do and about 15 minutes computer time

Honestly, this has to be one of the best things I've read from you. The emotion was just so tangible- especially for a created character, you were able to really make me connect with her and be just as sad and distraught when she was killed as if it were Remus or someone else already known. I absolutely adored how you went about describing Draco's thought process and emotion of the event; it's something that is difficult to achieve but you did it so well... I really felt it and that's so important.
I loved how you wrote Lucius and Narcissa as well.. it makes perfect sense the way they act but keeps them human; so many times they are made into these horrid creatures that are just one-sided evil characters. They weren't and that made it all the more real and emotional.
I couldn't help but correlate this to Harry's loss of Sirius, and I'm not sure if you did this on purpose but I think it's a great set-up for the story. Now they have both lost someone due to Voldemort and their thoughts on the war are changing.
It really inspires me to write even and that's just fantabulous. For all the time you've taken to write this and work it together it's just brilliant. All the worth it and I absolutely cannot wait for the next installment.

Wow. Thank you SO MUCH! That review you left was just lovely and when I read it I couldn't keep from squeeing because you were just so sweet to me! I'm really glad you managed to empathize with the OC because I know that OC's really piss a lot of people off.
I did try to mirror Harry's loss of Sirius because I thought it would start both Harry and Draco off on more even footing. I'm really glad someone picked up on that, so thanks!

I am so honoured. Really. I'm also ecstatic that you've been inspired to write. If your comments are anything to go by, your stories will be lovely, articulate and absolutely fab.
