There was Hamlet and Juliet
They mated and produced another generation, which mated and produced yet another, and then another
So, they're highly inbred.
However, the past generation DID NOT PRODUCE MUTANTS
Like, they've mated, and their babies were fine, fertile buggers
This past generation- the youngest- she wants to get rid of, but she can't sell them as a pair because they're so highly inbred, even though they've already had a batch of babies that were fine
Why can't she? She has a moral obligation to the person she's selling to.
Anyway, that's all understandable, and very empathetic, ect.
BUT
We gave away the father of this youngest generation so that it could mate with a bird far outside of the gene pool.
The bird never mated with the father, but that's a tangent
Mom went over to trade the male youngest generation for HIS FATHER
So, basically, the father and the daughter are now in the same cage, and this is somehow better.
My point: Mom, though possibly the sweetest person in the world, is completely illogical and encourages bird incest.
