I am not sure what I think about it.

I adore step shows.

I adore that the designer used steppers from college sororities, and didn't use stepping without steppers.

I like that he had the women keep the expressions that are meant to intimidate the other teams.

I really like that the steppers are pretty much all of them what you would call plus sized models, and some of them probably are plus sized in mainstream clothing sizes.

I like that the models are being very active. I know modeling is hard, but stepping is, too, and it's really not a passive way to move.

Holy moley those women are AMAZING.

I hate the clothes, but a mitigating factor is I think they are interesting.

I don't love that the clothes appear to be a mashup of gangster, Mother Teresa, Nation of Islam, and militias. There's something that doesn't sit right with me about that.

But then again, it's not like every other major designer in high fashion doesn't exploit/appropriate other cultural aesthetics in their clothes. Why should this guy get slammed worse because he does it more originally?

But then again again, really, I am not sure how I feel about the fact that this guy's collection looks like something Qaddafi's lady bodyguards would wear if they had a competitive cheerleading/dance team in addition to their badass bodyguarding duties.
