Summer cool

What I am wearing:

Halter-neck jersey dress in a vintagey sort of mid-blue with cream polka dots.
Cream fine linen short sleeved cardigan.
Bare feet.

I feel cool, comfortable, stylish and fun. The perfect summer outfit. What's even nicer is that I had entirely forgotten I owned this dress - it's so good to be reunited with my entire wardrobe!

Sounds lovely :) I'm wearing a dusky pink/pastel terracotta drop waisted sundress with cream lace trim and brown sandals, and wishing I had a cream cardy to pop on over it.

Lovely. I really like this cardigan and I'm glad to have recovered it from the back of the wardrobe. It's very fine so it doesn't add too much warmth, but enough for a slightly unpredictable English summer day.

Ooh. Could be because I was watching Rear Window last night so am thinking Technicolor! Vistavision! But it sounds very appropriate for a 1950's movie.

I did in fact wear this for Festival of Britain Day but I put shoes and stockings on and a pearl necklace, too.
