Any Given Sunday
Went to see the da Vinci machines exibition today. Inner geek is muchly satisfied. It also now desires a flying machine. Or at the very least to go an do some flying... <-- like handgliding or parasailing. Have also been to the docklands for the first time. Melbourne turns out to be a port city...
Exhibition was interesting, made me think, many of his designs were NEAT (as were his sketches) and am still in awe of da Vinci... He came up with not only concepts, but designs, of things that have only began to be understood in the last 50 years, and to me that's pretty impressive. (So is the fact that the Spanish Inquisition WAS mentioned ^_~).
Went out to dinner, Indian, Nirankar on Queen Street, which was followed by desert at Ichipan Crepes at Melbourne Central.
Now want to go and see the Rembrandt 1606-1669: from the Prints and Drawings Collection at the NVG. And MUST do that before the 24th of September.
Can't wait to get my new Emily the Strange hoody. I just might be getting too old for the brand, but it's still damn cute. And hopefully warm. Much adoration to Lina!
