Donde Fui en La Ceiba...

God gave me the ability to transcend language barriers at times when it was most needed. It was such a blessing, but so strange how my Spanish vocab and grammer came to mind at some points, and at other times I couldn't remember how to say anything.

These are my prayers for the children from the first week (and i might add some descriptions for memories sake)
I pray they will remember the love we gave them and it will be a way for them to picture the perfect love of Christ. I pray it was an impact we made, and that it won't fade away quickly, but that it will encourage them to the next step of spiritual growth.
I pray for Samanta that she would grow in faith and be able to share Christ with her baby brother Noel.
I pray for Daniela that she would grow in love and nurturing and able to lead her adorable little sister to You. Her smile and affection were adorable enough to make you want to laugh, her smile big and cute enough to make you want to cry, and a constant cough that would break your heart.
I pray for Francis that she will grow in reliance on you, Lord. I pray for Caterine that she will grow in wisdom and knowledge, but also in love for You. I pray she will be able to teach her little sister Nelly about You. I pray for Eric that He will grow up to be a strong man of Faith, and a witness for Christ.
I pray for Jaleski that she will grow passionate for Christ and for His truth. I pray for the interpreter Neidi and that she would experience You and share You with as many people as possible.

I have been learning to grow in love, but also in humility. Through my weaknesses I see how strong God is. He has used me in ways I never thought possible.
God, heal La Ceiba in every way, but also heal me. Physically, yes. But mainly spiritually.
