Closing yet another chapter
So what I haven't updated in months?!... What's it to ya? Anyways... lotsa shit been happening. Tomorrow is the last day of class for the semester. The semester went by faster than last year. It's insane. It's just like I just got here. Crazy. Ryan, Chris Thomas, and Sarah are all dropping out and have a house on Jackson St. here in Funcie. They move in on Wednesday. My last day of exams is on Thursday, but I'm not leaving for home until Friday morning. I'm going to need to stay Thursday night in order to clean up the room and pack up all my shit to go home for a few weeks. I don't have a roommate for next semester yet, but I'm sure they'll assign someone to live here. They almost always do. I think I'd like to have a room to myself for a semester. It'd be quite the change in pace. I've gotten very sick of 8 people playing video games and watching movies in here literally all day, every day. I'd just like the option of alone time if I wanted it. Ryan and I took down the loft yesterday and took it out to the dumpster. I don't want it next semester. I already like having my bed on the floor. Also, the futon's been at his new house here for about a week now. The room is radically different now. It's also a complete mess with a bunch of crap heading to his new house shortly. Not rooming with Ryan, being around him everyday is certainly going to be a switch. Though we've had our share of disagreements and small scuffles this year, I couldn't ask for too much better of a roommate. I've almost been spoiled to a point sometimes. Having a different roommate is going to be quite the change also. As I'm sure yall know, I like doing things my way, so a roommate who isn't much like me probably won't fly too well. I'll live. Ryan is letting me keep the fridge, microwave, and is also letting me use his stereo from home. I'll still be able to hook my computer up to it, and it has a remote. I've wanted one of those for our's that we have in here now. I look forward to going home for break. Dad's telling me we're going to finally get broadband, so I was pretty excited about hearing that. I'm working Sunday through Thursday next week. That's it. My reasoning is that I didn't get much of a summer break, so I want some of a winter break. I have lots of plans to do things with friends. As much as possible. I also have some tasks to tackle with my car. Speaking of the car... I uncovered it from about a foot of snow yesterday. It wasn't a pretty sight. Pretty, but not fun to take care of. Also, snow was about 8 inches deep for about 4-5 feet before I could make it out of my parking spot. It took a while to get out of there. But I did finally. Then I drove around the parking lot just to see how hard it will be to drive it in the snow. It's difficult. GO SLOW. That's all I can do pretty much. No sudden movements and no gas on turns. So I think that's about it for now. It's about 1am and I'm gunna go back to studying for Art History... loads of fun and excitement... See everybody soon.
