Is it just me, or does it ever feel like you're moving in slow motion and can't ever seem to get anything done when you're supposed to? There are so many things this week that I've completely forgotten about and just can't seem to get done. First off, my health. I have ANOTHER (the 3rd one in a year) massive kidney infection that the doctor said has been going on for a while and has probably been causing the discomfort, and so she gave me antibiotics to take every 12 hrs on an empty stomach. I'm very bad at taking meds on time. Which remind me, I forgot to take my birth control..I need to do that now...see what I mean?!!?
Anyway...bc taken...I take the pill in the morning and then go to class and work and by the time I get home I'm so hungry that I eat and forget to take the pill, so I end up going to bed after I eat and so I've only taken it once that day. This has happened everyday, and I spoke to my doctor today and she yelled at me saying I have to take the 2 pills a day on an empty stomach and since I haven't the infection is probably getting worse and I'll need to be put on this other medication along w/a new prescription of antibiotics...yay. So, I have to go back to the doctor tomorrow after school, great. I really don't understand the kidney infection thing. I drink tons of water everyday, barely drink alcohol, I eat lots of greens now (Matt makes me) and blueberries, I barely drink soda or coffee, I wipe correctly and all that, what else should I do??? The last 2 infections put me in the hospital, but this one has just been creeping along...ugh. Anyway, it's just so frustrating because I keep getting them w/no symptom of any bladder infection first and no matter what I do to prevent them I keep getting them!! Atleast it wasn't anything too serious like what we thought it could be. It really freaked me out when she started naming off different problems that fit in with my symptoms. Besides the kidney infection, she said she was lost as to what could be causing the pain after intercourse. She said that maybe my cervix/uterus is shaped in an odd way that it creates discomfort, but other than that she has no clue.
Maybe I should talk to another doctor? Who knows, I just need to get the kidney infection taken care of first then we'll worry about everything else after.
Now, if I can only get my bills and school work taken care of too then I'll be set!
