It will be all over the news tonight. The college i've taken music lessons at, where my parents got their masters, where numerous friends go, where my girlfriend's dad works, has become the next on the tragic list of school shootings. At around 3 today, a gunman shot at least five people, with 15 in total being taken to the local hospital, some . So far everyone i know is ok, but i haven't communicated with but one person who goes there (make it two while i was writing, m's dad is ok, and was at his office even though he's on sabbatical.. What the fuck is wrong with this world, and why am i still sitting in a giant computer lab when all the news reports indicate that this guy is still at large. University of Texas at Austin, Jonesboro, Springfield Oregon, Columbine, Virginia Tech, and now Northern Illinois University, a place i've been visiting since i have memory, in fact some of my earliest memories involve that place. So now it's here, welcome to America, welcome to Republicans getting extra votes in the next election, because people seem to feel safer with their incompetent militarized doctrine that seems to fail more than work. But also, new weapons bans are going to come into place. There is an issue addressed in the primaries a bit, the assault rifle ban, now that's going to be the big ticket item. HAPPY ST.
