Interview at Gamestop went well, but I can't say one way or another if I think I got it or not. Will know for sure by the end of this week.
My Sansa MP3 player finally bit the dust, so I'm looking into getting a new one. I'm leaning towards the
Cowon S9. It's a little pricey, but it seems like it will probably be worth the money. My phone is my MP3 player right now, but the sound quality is pretty meh, and I'd rather have a dedicated MP3 player.
It kinda sucks that you can put everything onto one device nowadays, especially if you just want something relatively basic. All it does is lead to mediocre one thing or another, like my phone's ability to play MP3s. I guess this is kinda hypocritical though since I do use my phone's MP3 player, and I use it to browse the 'net when I'm bored at work or something. Oh well.
I hate that my bank is suburb-specific. I'm thinking of opening up a Chase account in which to deposit my paychecks, but I dunno. That might be a terrible idea.
I saw
The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus after work yesterday because it was free and I didn't feel like being home. It was pretty enjoyable, but I'm not really sure what to make of it. This might require a second viewing, but probably not until it's on DVD or something. They did an excellent job working Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell in as Heath Ledger's replacements - it doesn't seem strange, unusual, rushed or anything like that. I was wondering how they would handle that, and they handled it very, very well. Depp and Farrell had the best "segments" though. I might stay and see
A Town Called Panic after work on Monday because it looks delightfully absurd and silly. And I haven't seen an unapologetic silly film in a while.
I miss my eyebrow piercing, but my ear piercings are growing on me (HAY MAN DAT AIN'T HOW DEY R SUPPOSED 2 WORK LOL) and my nosering is now my favorite. My navel is still giving me grief, but these things have a 6-12 month healing period, so I'm not too concerned, really.
Word.
