Life ... then and now.

Looking back to this time last year and how miserable I was,
trying so hard to be happy and putting up with shit way
outside my character....being with someone who didn't like the
holidays.. and was selfish ,was difficult.
But THIS year all is great. Not only does Tomomi get the holidays
but she likes the romance and feeling of the yule season.
She gets my interpretation of the holidays, the celebration of life,
and of a year coming to an end, and joy that we are still here to
see another year. She gets it.
Yes .
On another note her parents are going all out to throw us a nice reception
and I am feeling welcome and happy that her parents are accepting us !
So when we get back from Japan we are hoping to have the REAL
ceremony in April. Maybe at the Chinese gardens ? She wants a traditional
wedding komono but I know they are expensive...maybe we can rent one
like they do in Japan?
Plans to make.
It's been an interesting year, but I couldn't be happier.
We have a tree and lights, but even more important we have each other.
And that's the best thing of all.
