Mice are part of living in a big city apartment and mine is no exception. Usually I just see them scampering around along the wall in the odd hours of the night, but they never really make a nuisance of themselves. That was until recently when a couple of these little guys got smart and invaded my living area, chewing through bags and getting into drawers and cupboards that I had previously thought secure.
Now I'm a very lazy person who doesn't really want to take time to go to the store to buy traps, and after noticing several times that these mice would like to get into my desk-side trash can. Well, with some quick modifications to the can I converted it into a one-way live trap. On two occasions I came in to find the mouse moving around in the can. I quickly was able to bag up the whole thing then extract the mouse. After that I exiled them into the railroad cut near my place.
Here are some relevant pictures.

It's interesting how their bodies can be sorta of triangular.
