Haven't Retired Yet

I pretty much called it quits on updating the live journal but I feel an obligation to let anyone reading this know what's new in my life. I left off last semester saying that I was having a great time in my new dorm and that I had to decide where I wanted to go in Uconn's national student exchange. Well, first of all, the rest of the semester was nuts. Maybe I'll do another top 10 list for this year to summarize it. As for the exchange program, I'm going to South Carolina next semester. I can't wait to get away from Uconn and the cold weather here. I'm going to be living in one of their new on-campus apartments, next to the gym that looks like it's 10x the size of Uconn's gym. The campus is literally in the middle of the city with tons of bars around it. Beats having 2 bars and cow fields accross the street. Sorry to be bitter but Uconn has really been pissing me off lately. I'll be heading to South Carolina the week after new year's b/c their semester starts earlier. In other big news, I've been dating a wonderful girl named Kelley for about 7 months now. Everyone should know that already but I guess if you haven't talked to me, you wouldn't know since I think it's really weird when couples (especially guys) write to each other in their profiles and their away messages, confessing their ever-lasting love for each other. I actually get embarassed for them. So, stop it. Then again, some may say it's equally weird to openly write about your personal life in an online journal. Oh well. What else ... I'll be working at Cingular in the mall over thanksgiving break and winter break and then I'm officially 100% done. (For real this time) I did some real job searching this semester ... I even bought a suit! After a lot of interviewing, I got a really good summer internship with Philip Morris USA. I'll be doing work with their territory sales managers, going to all the stores that sell Philip Morris in a region. My region will probably be Hartford so they'll pay my rent for an apartment over the summer. Gas too. It's an awesome company so I'm really pumped about getting the job. After that summer, one more easy semester at Uconn, and I'm out in the real world.

Next post will be top 10 moments of 2005 -- Peace
