so i'm leaving...
i'm sick. horribly sniffly coughingly headachey - i feel like a nyquil commercial. i have drugs in my bag and have taken them, but nothing has kicked in yet...
today was a blur... trying to sleep in, but the sickness wouldn't let us (yes - kelly's sick too) and so we dragged our selves out of bed and started packing. checked out of the hotel, had a horrible lunch at bubba gumps (this is the first time this has ever happened - they're usually so stinking amazing!), returned our car and got to the airport like 2 hours early. so, now kelly is sleeping and i'm writing this quick check-in post to let you guys all know that i can't wait to get back to florida.
i'm tired of being on vacation. i miss my friends, i miss my kids (who BTW are also my friends), i miss my house and my dog and my truck and my...everything.
not to say that i didn't enjoy my vacation - i really think that i did. only thing is, that season is over and i'm looking forward to the next one. namely, going home and getting back to work on life. :)
allison (and tipp) - guys, i know you've been going through a lot. i'm sorry i haven't been in contact; between the lack of stable cell signal and the 6-hour time change and the monster cold i've just been no good. :( but i'll be home soon and maybe we can get together this weekend?... i hope so - i leave for st. pete on monday morning...
aerin - dude that stinks about the truck. i hope things get resolved soon - prayin' for ya...
alrite - my head's gonna 'splode in a minute. i'm going.
