question: how come dominick gets this huge DOMINICK IS AWESOME!!! whatever just for letting a certain someone drive home? and i [myself] what do i get?

"for what" you may ask?
well, let's see...
only for letting this certain someone drive all the way to wal-mart [read: longer than "the way home"] after them not getting any sleep {all night long? zero sleep.} and, may i add, this happened before the unnamed individual put in all their current hours of practice and now sorta half-knows how to drive. because i love this child so much and because i was implored-to so prettily, i put my very life in their sleepy, untried hands. and what did I get? nothing. this is what was documented (and i quote) "then i went to wal-mart with steven and kaulana. YESSS, I GOT TO DRIVE THERE."

now that that's out of the way...
the past couple of days have been... filled with drama with big ol' holes of boring in them. let me rewind and screen in my head to find high points...
i forgot to say that pierce and fiona drew/colored me pictures. if i am very industrious tomorrow, i will scan and post them for your viewing enjoyment...went home and took a nap with kelly. this a good thing. we always like naps...then came back to church for "whole wheat: seven grain" practice (which i did not participate in b/c i'm not cool enough to be in the band, but kelly is a mighty fine bass player and the kids know talent when they see it, baybee)...went back home to sleep, but finished reading anne of green gables first...slept in 'til 8:30 (woo-hoo!)...went to work: productivity was in sight...finally finished the rock the universe packet - this is a good thing indeed...taught jr. high Bible study...prayed a lot...WENT TO TACOS EL CARBON WITH KELLY AND AERIN...fell asleep while kelly was on the phone with emmett, whom we miss...
this brings us to today. got some happy emails today - yay! other than that though, work was...slow. not bad, but definitely slow. BUT i did knock a whole chunk out of my worship ministry backlog by finally getting George to go over the master song list and rate each song according to "power" and "speed". this took a whopping 2.5 hours, but believe it or not, i consider it time well spent. this will help me make my weekly worship sets with more accuracy and efficiency. and then we had practice. it was only an hour and a half long, but it was [in some ways] very long.

i think it's just b/c i'm tired.
random things in my head:
- jadalee left for nicaragua today. no jada for two weeks = sadness.
- kelly and i had a rather stimulating conversation about our culture today. it was all about anne of green gables and good housekeeping magazine and baby-boomers and the industrial revolution and hippies...and pot. someday, i'll muse these things in my journal, but not today cos it's late and i have to go home soon.
- it just dawned on me that marc scordato called today and said his kids are out with strep. we watched them on saturday night...my throat has been scratchy for like two days. i need some emergen-C, stat.
- rock and roll worship circus is one of the best band EVER.
okay - that's it. well, not really. there was much drama over these past days, but i'm not allowed to put that stuff here, so you'll have to imagine it yourself. i'm very much so going to bed now...
