yes, it really is 4:14 in the morning...

...and i'm in my office, waiting for the printer. biggest difference between now and this time last year = i'm not sweatin' it. is this good? i'm thinkin' yes.

well, that's it for my thought that i wouldn't make this a "new years" entry. :)

hahaha - things are grood. great and good. except for the fact that somehow, my nails and fingers got very dirty this night. i can feel them...grungy. yich. but other than that, grood all over.

tonight we had a show for new years... it was a happy idea, but reality was smaller than our heads and hearts projected. but it's all gravy cos kelly gave the gospel tonight and like four kids responded. that, my friends, is AMAZING! i had a marvy time dancing after the ball dropped, and nobody called the cops on our super loudness (which was a shock). we have amazing people in this church...they serve out of the fullness of their hearts and i am so blessed to be here...to be a part of this is something i fear i won't find again. good thing i serve a God of miracles or i'd be out of luck.

did i tell you kelly brought me a cat for christmas? he did. she's 12 weeks old now and i've never gotten so many complements on a cat in my life. her name is Kestrel (after the falcon); she's a long-haired, blue classic tabby American Bobtail cat. this kessykat is pretty stinkin' cool. we bought her a harness and while she doesn't walk very well on a leash, she doesn't even care that she's wearing stuff and that's rad. she knows the layout of the church - hates the youth room and loves the foyer. she is fascinated by the kiwibird, havler is jealous, isaac acts guilty around her, so i think he's got something bad in his mind... does she even know about the snake? i don't think so... she loves to sit in laps and be carried. she purrs a lot. so far, even people who really don't like cats like her. i know why. finally, here is an animal that BELONGS in my house. kelly says so. God has blessed me with a miracle even though i really don't deserve it.

what else new to tell? kelly had his last day as an official plumber yesterday. it's odd that him being here (at the office) isn't odd to my mind. i'm looking forward to it. :)

umm, my office is a mess. my house is a mess. my car needs gas. i'm getting sick. but all of that really doesn't matter. my God is amazing, my husband is what i never thought i needed, i have a rad job, an awesome church, the best family EVER, shoes for my feet, a bandanna to cover my crazy hair, a pb&j in my stomach, two of the best friends the world has to offer (who BTW, still haven't gotten their Christmas presents - sorry guys...) and GUESS WHAT? to top that all off, i get to play with a baby panther tomorrow. (if the Lord wills it!)

can life get better then this? i suppose...but why would i want it to? :)

okay - i'm pretty sure the printer is done by now; my bed and 2 lovely hours of sleep are calling! i really do love you guys...aheckuvalot.
me :)
