you will never guess where i am right now.

i am, right now, at the top of the south tower. with my dog. we just went on an excursion thru the wild lantana scrublands... it was quite diverting. lemme 'splain...
ok, so we're walking right? walking thru the wild lantana scrubland. bushes...sand...trees...sand...weeds...sand... and we come to a shady spot and i decide to stop and chill for a bit. isaac decides that he would much rather continue to explore and i, being the trusting and somewhat sadistic owner that i am, do not prevent him from doing so.
as soon as he's gone from sight, i creep swiftly but silently away...
around some bushes...
100 feet south-ish...
around some other bushes...
50 feet to the right...
into a small clearing...
i take a seat near a tree with some nasty lookin' weeds growing by it.
and i wait.
...
..
...
..
...
in less than 2 minutes, i hear his collar tags start to go nuts - meaning, lots of movement. heeheehee...
i hear the tags here and there... methinks he's realized that i'm gone and has begun to panic... probably crisscrosses the spot where he saw me last... oh, wait... i can see him now... man, he's really freaked out. [silent belly laugh here] his ears are all pricked up and he's lookin' everywhere... he runs to the left, runs to the right, looking, sniffing, searching... finally, after all that, he sprints into the clearing where i am, and doesn't look at me at all, but he must have caught my scent, cos he walks right over to where i'm sitting...
slowly,
deliberately,
purposefully
walks over...still not looking directly at me...refusing to look at me, but knowing i am there...stops right in front of me...
and
lifts
his
leg
to
pee
in
the
weeds.
he then turns around and saunters off. hide from me, will you? well, i'll show you just what i think about that!
dude. i lost it. i started laughin' and then he turned around an' came back an' i told him what a cool dog he was.
and now we're sitting down at the top of the south tower and i'm writin' this in my journal cos i thought it was funny.

BTW, he's made it all the way up here twice today. i think he's finally getting over his fear of stairs. either that, or he's just desperate for company. :)
okay, i'm going to the video store now. more movies for me!!!
