yesterday i was in the mall returning some things and these guys were randomly up from florida selling sugar-gliders. i obviously fell in love and spent an obscene amount of money on one. she's 8 weeks old.

I have a major issues with people keeping wild animals as pets, and seeing Sugar Gliders - which are native to Australia (where I live), being exploited in the pet trade is seriously heartbreaking. This person has no freaking idea how fragile these little creatures are - I don't think they were even aware it is nocturnal (re: when they speak of wanting to take it to work with them each day)
