On Petfinder Classifieds:
"The time of year is coming. Many baby rabbits are born and unforunately many baby rabbits become orphaned. I am willing to take in any orphaned baby rabbits and nurse then back to health. I have everything necessary....If you or someone you know has found an orphaned bunny and dont know how to care for one or if you dont have the time to please let me know and call or e mail me ASAP. The quicker the baby gets care the better chance it has at surviving. Thank You for your time."
Ugh.
Firstly, most of the poor orphaned baby bunnies one finds in the wild are not actually abandoned. There is no reason to remove them from their homes.
Secondly, this person is not (at least from the ad) connected with a rehabilitation center of any sort, nor are we given any assurance that once the poor orphans are adult they'll be capable of surviving in the wild.
