The dryer exploded and I was close enough to take the hit. Fortunately no one died, except me. We're replacing the dryer right now.

And the manju bun wasn't responsible. Apparently he did a really good job at repairing it after it shrunk Kira's clothing. Maybe the heating coil overloaded or something.

I'm about to blame it on the Hinata Inn's NAME but Asuna specifically told us that the Name won't cause deadly explosions. At least, none no one can survive that is.

What is going ON with that place? First the rampant nudity, now exploding dryers...

You'd think the entire universe was out to get you guys.

The rampant nudity we can blame on Name magic since the magic to make Dreams Come True have really weird side effects. See Xanatos' post.

The dryers? I'm working that out.

It's weird. All these random things happening to a small group of people. And it's not just nudity, but a ton of other chaos with no explanation: broken dryers, bizarre aim from sharpshooters, dropped food, exploding ovens, Optimus Prime with a PARKING TICKET of all things...

Except for that Zelos guy, all the people these things happened to either are FROM the Dragon or are connected someway to the Dragon. I'm a friend, Olette's a friend, Prime's a friend. It's too weird to be a coincidence.

Actually seems Zelos is a friend of Prime and Primal through some kind of weird connect the dots.

And Major Armstrong just got a plate of Jello on his head. Now that one puzzles me a little, but maybe it's a DATS connect the dots since Olette's in a Unit.

Me? I just wish my usual explanation for this was valid: Stupid Troll Priest Hexing People.

No, I don't think it's that indirect. Olette's not with a Unit--she's a secondary like me and Ben, judging by the order of names on the Daimons' wedding invitations. It seems a little too indirect for Armstrong--if that was the case, we'd have all of DATS having bad luck. He might know someone from the Dragon...which means we've probably just cursed Jack and Daisuke.

Aren't you jumping to conclusions? I mean, we don't know if this bad luck really is catching or just some kind of normal bad luck. And not everything fits with your theory--nothing bad's happened to Kelsey or a bunch of others in the Squad or the Dragon.

And then there's Possibility C:

Luck Magic.

Luck causes a whole slew of problems anywhere you go. It edges on the Chaos Magic which can result to weird things happening at complete random intervals, plus concentration in certain areas.

...Actually, given all the magic they sling around over there, that's a very real possibility. I faced a leprechaun with bad luck once before--it seemed to stick to everyone he came in contact with. Felled the Huntsclan when they tried to recapture him, and it made things hard for the rest of the people he was trying to escape it. Maybe it's why I captured Jake so easily.
