"Don't you just know it?"

I mostly use this account so I can post on other people's LJ's, mostly J.Jacques's QC LJ.

Basically, no one knows I have this LJ at all, other than one person and I think she's forgotten heh.

So yeah, I do have something that's post worthy, I've recently signed up to a I.T course. Specifically for computer upgrade and repair, which is something I've been wanting to do since dad bought our first computer.

What type it was I didn't know and even if I did know, I wouldn't remember it anyway, I was less then seven years old at the time and knew nothing about computers. It was long enough ago that the computer displayed green text, could only play chess (which I suspected it of cheating at) and utterly, utterly fascinated me.

All the time I had, was spent on that venerable piece of technology, learning it, exploring what could be done, playing very badly at chess with it. Those were good days. Those days I discovered my love of the PC.

I'm pretty keyed up about this course, I just want to start now, but I have to wait a week before I can get to grips with it.

I try not to think of what will happen after courses end. I don't want raised expectations or hope that it'll make my life easier and more fulfilling.

If I get too distracted, it might all turn on me.
