Licenced to kill

Well, I caught up with Pete for lunch today and found the cheapest place to eat in central Adelaide. For visitors to Adelaide, it is Cafe 42 by the Morphett Street bridge. If you're a full time student you get ten percent off their already ridiculously cheap prices... I gorged myself on a five dollar butter chicken. I had to say no to the lentil curry, because I can make kick-ass lentil curry myself (I am so modest, and face it - that's why you love me so much) but I can't make butter chicken to save myself. I suspect it's because I can't bring myself to put in as much of that sweeeeet buttery goodness in it... and I also don't have a tandoori oven. Neither did this place, but then five bucks is five bucks and I'm poor.

So anyhoo, I now have a discount card and I am 0098. Hooray for my new privilege and responsibility.

In other news I am stuffed because I am a closet cricket tragic and the world cup is on... a time for picking up the Kiwi patriotism and smacking a few Australians around the head with it. Choice, bro. This is sad but true... especially since games start at midnight and go through to 7am... so needless to say I am VERY tired.

What else. De and I went to the cycling in the World Police and Fire games the other night, which was a bit of a blast - we were going to back it up with the athletics tonight but it's RAINING oh sweet joy of joys. And not before time, either!

Anyway, that's all I have.
