Asch discovers Guy. Luke discovers Asch.
They meet at the fountain in the Square and wind up discussing SRS BSNS. A stupid argument with the replica exhausts Asch, and he goes home with Luke and Guy.

Asch pocket-dials during a confrontation with Guy-clone.
He manages to knock the Guy-clone out. Both a sort-of-concerned Guy and Yuri (Lowell) respond to this post. Yuri begins trolling Asch at some point; Guy arrives to check on Asch and do something about the clone. Together they remove the clone from the City, where there's another confrontation. Guy kills the copy, and the two have identity issues before finally returning home.

Asch responds to a proud ???? (Rita Mordio)'s cake-baking attempt. She recognizes him as having been in the City before. They call each other idiots and stupid before Asch insults her torte-thing, and she challenges him to do better. He takes her seriously, disconnects, and is determined to show her up.

Asch learns about the eatery that Natalia left behind: Hymns of Lorelei. Asch decides to work there to uphold her legacy and show this girl up.

Asch makes a triple-layer ice cream cake.
Guy compliments Asch, who is mentally ten and supposedly doesn't have a problem with this girl who committed cake-homicide. Asch discovers the girl is named Rita through means that are a little more than completely obvious.
Rita responds. The cake argument ensues before rapidly devolving into... Asch insulting Rita's cooking skills and indirectly comparing her cake to vomit. It ends with much back and forth that's something like, "Shut up!" and "No, you!"
Yuri compliments the cake. Asch realizes that he's not fully prepared to respond to people who aren't really involved in the matter and thus plugs Hymns of Lorelei.
Luke also sees the cake and hopes for a piece that Asch isn't going to give him, and Asch plays big brother. They inevitably share a piece of cake.

Asch and Guy prepare for a one-year marriage anniversary!
A beautiful day of reliving falsified sentimental memories of love and devotion that ends in a night beneath the stars. The two wake with great horror the next morning, Asch can't simply brush the event aside and inevitably moves into his own apartment.

Guy responds and immediately heads to Asch's apartment, where they attempt talking stuff out. Guy makes sense, Asch does not, and the heated discussion reaches a climax.
Rita responds and is kind of shocked that Asch can do more than just yell at people! In fact, he's kind of pouring his heart out and talking about the way things were in Auldrant.
Some guy responds with his observation. There's really nothing else to say on the matter.
Shas'la Kais responds to relate similar feelings of lacking direction.

Asch yells at Luke for not taking care of Van. Then he gets some unexpected visitors.

Asch has seen the video responses on Van's first network entry and is nothing less than frustrated with the replica. While the replica does not reply to the entry (probably because there are a lot of other things people to deal with, he does wind up meeting with the following:
- His mother (Suzanne fon Fabre). This is a surprise, and he hopes that she won't wind up staying permanently.
- Natalia Luzu Kimlasca-Lanvaldear. She isn't the same one who'd been here before whose room is in Luke's apartment. Nevertheless, he is more than happy to see her simply because it's her.
- Sodia. She replies to the entry, and they rendezvous to share info.
- Arietta the Wild. He'd have gotten her something to eat, but she keeps pressing on to whether or not Asch had already betrayed Van. The answer being, "Yes," but not verbatim, makes them enemies.

The device takes it upon itself to announce Asch and Luke's return to the apartment after their expedition.
Asch's discussion with Luke gets sidetracked when he finds the communicator posted the beginning part of it on the network. Now, he just wants to get things over with and call it a night.
Eagle Vision replies asking about how the expedition went.
Tyr McDohl asks about Luke almost dying. After Asch explains that Luke's body is breaking down even without his using hyperresonance, he refuses to expand further on the reasons why and hangs up on Tyr.
This guy (Caspian X) asks what the journey was like, but Asch is far from an epic storyteller.
Rita asks about the journey and concludes that it was completely useless. Asch doesn't want to agree with her, but he does think that it was, for the most part, a huge waste of time.
Estelle (Estellise Sidos Heurassein) asks about the expedition and begins asking about Asch's reference to 'the replica'. Unwilling to discuss it much further, Asch winds up reminding her of the importance of the expedition party's safe return and leaves it at that.
Yuri teases them some more.

This guy (Huey Freeman) wonders what's the occasion and shows he's jaded from being in the City for over two years.
Some other guy (Mikura Kazuma) checks out the donations box and decides nothing's really his style.
Luke is wondering why Asch took it upon himself to give his clothes away as well.

Knowing it's another population influx, Asch waits up at the fountain in hope of meeting his mother Natalia important people.

Noting the City is once more undergoing a population influx, Asch decides to wait for people who might be familiar to him. He'd prefer said people be on decent terms with him, but one can't always have what he wants. Especially Asch. Although he doesn't get to see his mom again (darn), he does meet up with the following:
- Worf, son of Mogh. Well, that's certainly a different breed of person. Asch can't help wondering if he has some unusual head condition.
- Raven. Uhh. What a weirdo.
- Kasumi Fuu. They wind up talking in circles.
- Natalia Luzu Kimlasca-Lanvaldear. Yet again, Asch winds up meeting her. This time, she has recollection of the City. She has been all over Kimlasca as well as the rest of Auldrant, and he takes her all around the City for as little time as they have.
- Luke fon Fabre (genderbent). She is supposedly Luke, but she's female and... isn't quite like the replica at all.
- Tear Grants. Another version of Van's sister who has apparently been in another world called Facility.
- Shiro, a kid who asks if he could take Asch's lunch before he could finish it. This kid apparently doesn't know what shops, money, or pockets are.

Asch investigates when Luke meets with Mithos to have a talk. Mithos reveals that he will stop at nothing to create the perfect world for his sister and begin the Age of Lifeless Beings. Asch interrupts, but he knows they have nothing on Mithos right now. He compares Mithos to Van before deciding to walk away and hope the replica will follow his lead.

Of course, this was in reference to groundcherries, and Asch felt kind of stupid for not thinking about that. Nevertheless, this sparks his first conversation with Rapunzel, a girl who happens to work at the Golden Jade. It's a restaurant/tea shop that's been around the City for a while now. Maybe Asch should check it out.
