Ben really likes the MTC, takes a while to hear from him by mail. Hes really changed though. Its amazing the things you can hear from a 19 year old. "Michelle (I forgot her name and i was talking about her, not sure what her last name is or if she reads bens journals) is her name, and unfortunetly she hasnt written me yet. The only friend thats written me is Kerry. Besides that its been Lisa, Nena, Mom, Mom (mom, step-mom) and Dad, now you!" He wants everyone who can to write to him, i think it would help him too. Im sure he gets homesick. But thats not the point, hes really changed, it feels good to hear from him. He doesnt seem like he's in high school anymore. Its like talking to a very spiritually enlightened person, and it surprises you that hes only 19. Most find it strange that we send 19 year old kids out to preach the gospel but hearing from him makes you know why. These young men become wise beyond their years. He tells us in every letter its true, the gospel is true, jesus is the christ, and the savior of the world. To some it doesnt mean much but when you realize the importance of it it means the world. Im sure he'd like you all to know that.
