so i went to band camp yesterday and visited the good times. shane, jenn, and i drove up there in pretty good timing, and i swear, i wasn't speeding (only 75 or so my speedometer said). i heard many stories that made me miss band camp, and many stories that made me glad to definetly be gone. everytime i see old faces in a big group, it sinks in more and more. not the fact that i'm graduated, but the fact that it's winding down and i'm getting ready to start a more eventful chapter (if that is even possible). it's hitting home again and i feel what it's gonna already be like when i get the chance to see these people again. those who want to stay in touch, i will do my part in that as long as you will, but those who don't, thank you for the chapter of my life that was better than anything i could have asked for at that time.
so this is what is sinking in...time is flying by, and i wish sometimes that it could drag it's feet just a little so that i could have more time to get more done. just these past 4 or 5 days have hit home to me, cleaning my room out a little bit, hanging out with friends that i haven't seen all summer (although they were drunk and can't remember), and just having some really good times and laughs after a hard weeks work, it's all hitting home. it's all about the work and then it's about the memories that come after that. let me just say i love life, and i love living. live everyday as hard as you can and you'll love it too!
here's another subject...............drum roll please...................I TURN MY MISSION PAPERS IN ON THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!! although they may not be sent in for a couple more days, they will be out of my hands until the person responsible for it turns them in. they're done, i'm done with that and now have a lot more things to worry about to get me there. staying worthy, dentist stuff, prisethood stuff, and then i'll be off as early as my birthday in november. i may never see some of you again, but your touch in my life is noticed and very appreciated, i love you all!
and on another note, great job marching band, you blow me away!! catch ya later!
