There were good things and bad things about getting out of Fandom when he did and heading to Maine without any side trips. The good thing was that he got settled in the town, explored some, got used to his surroundings and adjusted to living in a hotel until the new semester started. The bad thing was he got bored really easily. He couldn't just find a common room or go in town and find some friends to talk to.
So, he spent a lot of time sleeping, a lot of time reading and the rest of the time exploring the town. Today, he was in the midst of re-reading one of the books he'd taken with him while listening to his new neighbors go at it.
Again.
They were like bunnies.
He wasn't jealous or anything. Really. He just wanted to read.
