Room 315, Tuesday Evening

Nov 11, 2008 13:46

Lee thought he'd have kids when he was older, had a stable job, and was settled somewhere that was bigger than a postage stamp. Of course, Sam couldn't really be classified as child (in that he wasn't human) but Sam was alive and Sam was letting Lee know that by squealing for all his little lungs were worth.

Pride was even hiding and Pride never wanted to hide because hiding meant he wasn't the center of attention.

"Sam, shh, Sam," Lee said, rocking him and cooing and using a voice that would get him thrown out of the macho club, for sure.

Sam just wanted to squeal and flail.

Lee was never having kids.
