(no subject)
so i got the job at costco... yesterday was my orientation and today is my real first day. they've started me off in full force but i'll only be working like 32 hours a week. what's cool is they automatically pay time and a half for sundays and also it's really easy to advance and get raises. cashiers top out at $19/hr and then managers are at like $23-24/hr. imagine a manager working on sunday! shit! 401k and short term starts immediately but you don't get the rest of the benefits until 6 months... which sucks. but they match half 401k and the benefits are supposed to kick ass. oh and after a year you start to get 2% back on purchases you make with costco.
anyways. everything else is going well. i'm just barely going to make rent (damn government and their unemployment hub-bub)... but i have a research study coming up the first two weeks of april and luckily costco has no problem with giving me those days off. this month is going to be nice. it'll be badass to have a paycheck again.
been hanging out with some old friends as of late. it's pretty damn cool. turns out josh has the exact same car as me but silver and 4 door. he helped me with putting on the short ram intake... so now my car sounds all badass. yay!
last night we went to a party and drank and then went to a near-by hot tub. that was relaxing but three roomies in a love triangle were all fighting. i wanna go relax again tonight though.
also last night i had some crazy dreams - one of which sticks out the most. austin froze over. no big deal... but for whatever reason - my boy and i had to get out of there and i had to pee. so we decide that a train is the best thing to take since it's on tracks and i can find a bathroom on there. so we get on this three floor train with an elevator. well, it didn't stay on the tracks - it went down a dirt road at one point. suddenly we were back on the tracks and at the beach. then i saw a million frozen SLOTHS laying on the side of the beach that we were passing (the train tracks were on the beach?), and it seemed really odd to me. so i was like yea... i have to pee - but there were not restrooms on the second floor. so i try to go to the first floor but it was flooded. and the third floor was suddenly missing and a few people were screaming - i guess it was assumed that the top got ripped off going under an overpass that was too low. so i had the guy stop the train and i went and peed in the sand... and then climbed back in the window. then some like mini t-rex got loose on the second floor and starts like chasing people and eating them. then it spotted us and we ran and got into the elevator... but if we went down it would flood and if we went up - we'd fall off? i dunno. so we were just kind of sitting there hoping the train would stop being so disasterous. then i woke up... and yea, peed, because obviously i had to go. lol.
spring is almost here! and april showers! wee!
time to head to work!

so um... costco hurts. my arms, back, butt, and legs hurt. obviously i haven't been working those muscles until now, but shit! it's so fast paced and i'm running around everywhere and lifting heavy things. maybe i'll get hot... and then adding on the gym to that? hell yea.
