I put on my new kick-ass stereo headphones to watch the video.

I loved this song -- we drove for hours to go see them in concert.

Haha nice. I was too young in the 80s, but it's all still so awesome... Er, I mean, radical...

Dammit. I've seen that thing a hundred times, and I still had to watch it all the way through.

One-hit wonders, but damn good video.

OK. Now, where's Duran Duran's 'Hungry Like The Wolf'?

They weren't really one-hit wonders, though. Even just talking about the US, "The Sun Always Shines on TV" hit the top 20; worldwide, including the UK, they had an assload of top ten hits. Hell, they had a top ten single in the UK last year.

Actually, I knew they had more popularity in Europe. I didn't realize that they were still hitting the charts, though.

It really wasn't my type of music, anyway. However, I did like the video.

<3 Oh, Young Simon Le Bon. How I love you.

My boyfriend sent me a fucking AWESOME clip of them doing this song at last years(!) Voodoo Fest in New Orleans. They still got it, even if they rarely use it. And honest to God, watching that clip was what finally tipped me over the edge to accept an invitation to transfer to Tulane in New Orleans after obsessing for MONTHS. Strange reason, but true.

Heee nice. What do you do that you get invites to transfer, and where did you start? (If you don't mind my asking)
