My good internet friend sensual_blossom makes an intro post to handbag_fetish. Not stupid at all.

addienfaemne then makes a dramariffic comment about how my BFF sensual_blossom has also been mentioned in stupid_free. The stupid begins.

She's full of shit about the thin ice thing, I assume. There are enough snark communities around that I can't imagine stupid_free is a problem.

I'm sure we get a lot of complaints. But the fact is, if we're staying in communities, and snarking usernames, we're not doing anything remotely against the TOS. If LJ made mentioning other users in a negative light against the TOS, they'd have an awful lot of work on their hands.

lord_snot and I have always had a very clear idea of what this community should be. We mock silliness in communities, period. We don't go to personal journals. We don't try to cause more drama by going to the snarkee's myspace pages, bosses, etc. We try to stay away from ragging on people's looks, color, size, religion. We are anti-soapboxing. We make fun of LJ users, sure. But we make fun of what they say. Like I said before, if LJ tries to make that a TOS violation, they're going to have a whole lot of work ahead of them.

I already have my e-suicide post all written up in TextEdit to post to my LJ when s_f gets bahleeted, because I will officially have no reason at all to live.
