I fail to see how "snowflake," as used in the post, could be considered a racist term. It was clearly in reference to someone who expected special treatment.

Actually, I've never heard anyone use "snowflake" as a slur! It doesn't surprise me. I've just never actually seen it.

I'm not surprised by it either but at least I knew how it was being used. Thats cuz I spend too much time on LJ.

Exactly! On LJ, "snowflake" is pretty much always used for people with an inflated sense of entitlement.
