It is a tool of the devil. We're evil incarnate, didn't you get the memo?

Augh! 8D My god, you're quick --- I was all set to post, "And now, like the whipped cream of stupid on top of the frothy latte of duh, I bring you this."

According to the TOS, they should have contacted the accountholders about the questionable content before deleting anything.

As it is, they deleted support communities for abuse survivors, RP journals, fanfic communities, and at least one discussion group dedicated to Nabakov's Lolita without warning or, apparently, serious thought.

I'm fairly certain that the TOS also says they can delete/suspend a journal for any reason without warning. It's the general clause to cover them if something crazy happens, and it may be used to justify what's going on now. Unfortunately. (Since what you stated is in the TOS, and what would, I assume, be normal operating procedures, as opposed to 'emergency clause')

ellid's comment is almost as ridiculous as 1stbaptist:

You are the type of hypocritical Pharisee that crucified Jesus. Go back to your nasty little Reconstructionist cult and stop trolling!

WTF is that?!?

And yay I finally get to use that icon!

I believe she(?) was making a point that actually fits fairly well. Technically, the Romans crucified Jesus, but yeah...

I can't wait until people like that finally go extinct.

Their numbers have steadily been going down over the centuries, and eventually there will be none left.

I wish we could switch them for the dinosaurs.

... I just want to ride a raptor to school.

No, they're like smallpox. You think you've made them extinct, but unbeknownst to you there was a small cell of stupid quietly resisting all attempts at unstupidifying and lying in wait for the day that anti-stupid vaccinations would falter.

That kind of hate-filled dogmatic stupid is as human as the appendix, and will be with us forever in some quantity.

Wrong, Christianity is growing faster today than the rate of population. Read up. Don't assume.
