I have no idea... I think they're more than a little insane, and entirely too over the top. A friend of mine is a member, though. She's a good person other than that... XD

Fun! I'm not CF, so that automatically precludes me from joining. And while I'm completely supportive of people who are CF, I think the hardcore_CF people are a little ridiculous, what with the "OMFG I saw a parent moo/duh today and they had their larvae with them and it LOOKED at me so OMG I totally like gave them a dirty look! I ROCK!" and the resultant back-patting and the "There there it's okay... I know offspring are totally traumatising and no one with kids should be allowed to go outside because we might see them but that's just the burden of being CF" crap.

I'm not crazy.. and since most of the people in CF_h don't seem to be rabid scary folks to me, I kind of resent the stereotype. *sigh* But I guess I'm just asking for trouble posting that, right? I'm just a "crazy cf_h'er".

* adendum: I acknowledge that there are crazies and people who take it too far on CF_h. But then, there are people in stupid_free who are crazy or take it too far. There are people in every group that are crazy or take it too far.

Call me what you will, but CF_h isn't half as bad as everyone makes it out to be. I oughta know, being a member.

From what I've seen of it, there seem to be a lot of ridiculously crazy people in CF_h. I realise it's a rant community, but it tends to be a little over the top from what I've seen.

Maybe I'm just not that extreme. It just seems a little ridiculous at times.

Some of the people there are. Most of the ones I see on the actual community are sane, reasonable folk. ^^; I dunno, maybe being CF and a member of the community, I see things some people don't. Well, I also see the flocked posts, which may add a bit more perspective.

I think the flocked posts probably do add some perspective; the unlocked ones tend to make me go "Buhwhat?" occasionally.

... did you read my other comment? I don't think all CF people are scary rabid folks. I don't even think that all cf_h people are scary rabid folks. There just seems to be a lot of them. There also seems to be a lot of scary rabid furries/Republicans/breastfeeding moms/teenagers/etc on livejournal.

Sorry. ^^; I probably read it wrong. I just get a little irked because it seems that a lot of people just assume that anyone who's a member of CF_h is batshit insane.

I am batshit insane, but just over anime. And books. And movies. And TV shows. I swear.
