Haha, never used those. But one of my pitchers had a build-in bag cutter that never worked, because you had to bend the full bag of milk to the lip of the pitcher to cut it, and always ended up spilling some.
So I switched to scissors magic milk bag cutters.

I've seen milk in bags (liquid, not powdered) in lots of countries. Doesn't seem that odd to me.

Agreed, all the milk I had in grad school served with lunch was in bags. And I'm in the US.

Milk out of a carton never tastes as good as out of a bag. We don't have jugs here so I've never drank from that.

I hate when my husband cuts the hole too big as well. Because you don't notice until you've started pouring and then it's a problem.
