Halloween! (early)

I haven't gotten to really celebrate Halloween for about five years, and now I am!
I've gone to HHN as many times as a guest as I have worked it. I'm going to Halloween parties. I've got a badass Halloween costume this time around, best one since the Butcher. And if I'm lucky I might have a pretty cool reserve costume to wear on Halloween day. If only I had more money though to throw at all this stuff...

Saturday I worked all day on my costume. I had been working on it already, but Saturday I really started putting it together. I got lucky and had some help with friends, and it wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be. After running errands all day, I got to head back home and visit Perry who had come up from Sarasota for HHN. She helped me put the costume together, tweak it so it would look more real, and finally, I had managed to put together a Headless Horseman costume. When I went to the party later that night, it worked. It immediately scared the hostess when she opened the door for me. So I was pleased. Everybody agreed it was an awesome costume. I just wish I could wear it for more than twenty minutes without being bothered by it. Still, I had a great time at the party, and a wicked costume, so I'm happy.
Later that night I came back to the house where Perry still was, sleeping. She woke up and we went out for milkshakes and crummy food. She's a great pick-me-up.

Next day I had to attend a rehearsal for an interactive performance project. It felt so nice to be back with the iPlay people and doing interactive again. I missed it so. It's not quite StoryBox, but I'm excited about the project because I'm interested in how it's going to play out. I'm really not sure how it's gonna go down. Isn't the live theatre exciting! As for me personally, my character is a huge challange for me. It's a type cast I've been getting alot recently (cocky jackass), but he's so friggin invasive and mean and just plain rude. I was having a really hard time getting to the point this character needs to be, and I still am, but Dawn helped me out a whole lot and I've definately got a grasp on him now. I just need to man up to the challange. She gave me some words of praise about me, and the character, and everything, so like I said, I'm feeling great about being back and being part of this project.

After that I had to head back to Universal, to get tickets for Horror Nights. Then I had to get them to Perry, she helped me out a lot by meeting me half way. We did the exchange, I continued to work for the night. Got to work with one minute to spare even though I already called in late. Got ready for work, waited around to be called to be a spare, but when they called me I opted out for early release, changed, and left work. Then I went straight to meet the Venice girls and head off to take them to Halloween Horror Nights.
The night started off kind of slow, but after a little waiting it picked up and we started hitting all the houses thanks to a couple of my connections. For the first time I was told the girls were happy that I knew everybody. Once things got going we had a blast, though still, some of the houses had a lot of holes that needed to be manned. Although, I think we came in at change-out time on three of the houses. Rediculous. Nevertheless, a good time had by all.
We went home and crashed.

This morning sucked cuz I was still tired from the night before, I had to get up early and do one of the most arduous and busiest tests I've ever had to take, and it was raining the whole time. It was the perfect morning to sleep in and do nothing, and since I missed my first two classes for that stupid test anyway, I really would like to have done that.
Now I'm off to work, still tired.
