I'm going everywhere
Ren Fair yesterday was a lot of fun. It was me, Jesse, and two of his friends. We got all piratey and good looking. We checked out a lot of the good stands and the cool acts. I got to whip around a bow staff like I was a badass warrior, and we also decided this sword was the perfect sword for me. I have to raise $675 dollars now. I also found a peice of armor that would really suit me. I've tallied up roughly $1,400 worth of stuff I need to get a Ren Fair next year. So it's settled, I'm getting an agent.
We got to see one of the Christoph the Insulter shows, I wish we would have stayed for the late night one when he gets really raunchy. We also caught the tail end of the Human Chess Match, late enough to skip over the Brokeback joke (so glad I missed it this time), but just in time to see the Fop kick some female ass. Most of all though we did a lot of wandering.
I got to meet up with Perry and Megan in the afternoon, and it was great getting to see her, even for a little bit. We watched Empty Hats play together, and they're great, so it was quite a nice experience. After Jesse and left early I still felt the connection. It was there, there's no denying it.
Stephanie's Murder Mystery party was amazing last night. She gathered a group of interactors, told one of them they killed somebody, and let us make way with the accusations. There was so much deceit, betrayal, tough guy attitudes, stupid arguments, and so much tension it made me wanna shoot somebody. And being the leader of the Mafia, I probably would have. My character was hot-tempered and iron-fisted, and he started to lose it toward the end. But I loved it. My Mafia guys were so much fun to conspire with. We all had a blast. Though I've never been so stressed from a single event. It was a relief when I found out it was one of my guys.
Today I hung out with some friends at Disney. Sami! and Wendy brought me down to House of Blues so I could do Wendy's make up for the Alkaline Trio show. And to hang out. They were the first ones in line, and I was with them, but I couldn't stay. They offered me a free ticket, but I couldn't go. I'm missing out on an Against Me!/Alkaline Trio show because of a rehearsal! I called to get out of it, but this specific rehearsal is too important.
So I floored it back home just in time to make the iCLUB Officer meeting, and watched a bit of tv to relax. I should have been doing homework, or memorizing lines. I have to go to that one-act rehearsal now. And I just found out Project Spotlight scheduled it's meeting at 10:30, right after my rehearsal, so I could make it. So... it's going to be a long night spending my time on Project Spotlight. And I still have homework to get done. So it's settled, I'm not going to get as involved next year.
