Saturday I had massive writer's block. My fingernails are proof, they're worn down to nothing. But as soon as midnight hit, and it was technically Sunday, I got on a roll.
Both Saturday and Sunday morning I kept waking up and going back to sleep. I just do not want to get up and be awake. Tomorrow I have to. That sucks.
okay, so, Today is Jeremy Popoff's birthday. Incase you don't recognize the name, he's the amazing guitarist of Lit. I've been talking about him and his shoes most of the day. Most of you know that usually I celebrate by dressing in the same manner as the rock star, but this year I don't feel like doing that. Instead, I wore orange (his favorite color), I shaved all but a goatee, listened to Sinatra, and most importantly, I went vegitarian for the day. I did it subconsciously at first, and then realized I needed to keep it up. I went out for a soft Ugly Naked Guy at Moe's, it was good.
I had my first officer meeting for iCLUB today. I am a good secretary, already tackling a lot of work. We had the meeting, planned out the next month or so, and I resolved any issues I would have during October. It's all good. Then the other officers, who were cooking during the whole meeting, brought up the dinner plans. I forgot that they had also invited me, and the club, for dinner this evening. Which is really funny considering I was the only person who actually RSVPed. Well, they were serving lemon chicken. I fought with myself for half an hour about whether or not to break my goal of being vegitarian. They served me a plate and this was my conclusion: I wanted to be a good guest, and since I didn't mention I wasn't going to be a veggie, they were kind enough to make me a chicken dinner; and since Jeremy has broken his vegitarianism for a day to sample Frank Sinatra's favorite rib restaurant, I figured I could do the same. So I ate it, and it was good. HOWEVER, to make up for it, I will also be going veggie tomorrow, which will be more difficult, and I will not break it. I'm totally fine with celebrating it the next day instead, I was planning on doing A.Jay's a day late too, so I might as well do them all that way. OH! Lit Day this year will be September 14th. Look for me and my fanhood.
We played Hoopla afterward, and it was lots o' fun.
At about 11, I went to this girls house for a... how do I describe this. You know, I won't. It was a secret art project and it was really cool. I was supposed to be doing it with another friend, but she didn't show couldn't make it so I was the only one and I had to take on the whole project alone. But I think in the end, it'll be worth it. ...It definately wasn't was I expected. (shh, secret.)
