Thoughts
Just got a letter from my folks. My Grandpa is fighting Colon cancer, and Karen's mom just passed away. I just wanted to quote something from their letter:
"We learned that immortality is not only the genetic material shared but the memories, stories, myths, and even the personality traits that will continue." And if I could add one, love.
I just wanted to let everyone know who reads this journal, that in addition to the barriers of life and death, you all continue to be with me through the barrier or geography, because you're all always in my heart.
Sad news aside, next week I'm taking a week-long intensive training course with Seifu Richard (the Top WT expert in Britain), which I am very excited about. It will be 7.5 hours during the week in a small course (6-10 people per class) with him, then a larger (20 people?) 6 hour seminar on sunday.
I'm working on a cool project right now for work, one that should greatly expand our market base. I'm stoked about it, I just wish it was about a week later so it might not conflict with the master's classes!
