DAMSEL IN DISTRESS
had a strange but nice experience today.
was washing up in the kitchen this morning when i look out of the window to see the next door neighbour waving at me out of the bathroom window.
it turns out that she had locked herself in her bathroom and could i help her get out, "no problem at all" i say and proceed to enlist the help of mike and some screw drivers a long stick and a stool.
she came round and gave me some very nice beer by way of a thank-you, it wasnt really necessary as i would have done it anyway but it was a nice gesture.
have to say though it was a strange way to meet your neighbour for the first time.
