THE RESULTS ARE IN
Well I went to see the specialist today and got quite a shock!, I thought i was just going to see him so that they could work out a treatment regime to sort out my kidneys.
However the specialist had a different idea!, as he already knew where the problem lay he decided not to waste any time and after what they call a "flowrate test" (i'll let you work out what that measures for yourselves) they carried out a very simple (although a little strange to me) proceedure and then another "flowrate test" to see if it had improved (it had) and it was all over.
I was supposed to be in at 9.50am and out by 10.30am but due to the proceedure taking place I left at 12.15pm so called work and they said take the rest of the day off.
they took on small sample to send off to the lab to see if there is any trace of the infection there and i will get the results of those next week.
So it looks as if i'm cured, it has only taken 6 months from start to finish and compared to what they thought it was at the start to how easy it was to fix at the end its a HUGE difference.
To say i am relived (no pun intended) is an under statement, I will have to go back in three months time just so that they can make sure everything is ok but apart from that i'm a free person again GO ME ! ^_^
