why the hell am i here?

I was thinking while walking back from my calculus class today and I came to the conclusion that one of the biggest reasons I came to this school was because of how beautiful the campus was. The day I moved in, I knew there was going to be construction (we had to walk through it to get to my dorm)but I never knew that it would get to this extreme. The part of campus where I live is disgusting. I've posted a link to some pictures to show you just what I mean but I have no pictures that I could post in comparison...just know it looked nothing like it does when I first saw it. If I had known that the campus was going to be like this, I'm sure it would have had an effect on my decision to come here. I wanted to come here because it was beautiful and peaceful and unlike anything I have experienced. Now, I wake up to huge back hoes and dump trucks digging and drilling and dumping rocks and everything outside my window at 7 am every weekday morning not to mention the occasional blasting. That's hardly peaceful or beautiful and there's plenty of construction in RI...I didn't have to move 300 miles and pay $35,000 to see/hear that...why am I here?!?! I'm not experiencing the amazement I did when I came to visit back in April that made me want to come here...or in JUNE for that matter...it fucking sucks and I'm so disappointed. *sighs* Anyway...enjoy the disgusting pictures...
