We had a great time. The weather was good, the food was good, and the people were great. The country is beautiful and lush, with every shade of green you can think of. It was fun driving on the wrong side of the road. Specially in a stick shift car with the steering wheel and shifter on the wrong sides. Took a couple of days to get use to. We landed in Edinburgh and drove to a cool town about 15 minutes south of the the city. We only went into Edinburgh one day. We needed to do some shopping because our luggage did not make it with us. It did show up on day 3 though. Anyway the city was nice even though we spent the whole day walking up one street. We did not go the the castle because there was a billion people there. So we shopped for gifts and stuff. We met this dude named Sandy who knows more about scotch than anyone I've ever met. We talked for a while and he gave me samples and I ended up getting a little tipsy off the samples he was feeding me. I also ended up with some really good scotch. (don't worry Rokenman, you'll get yours)......
Well I really have to run. I will fill you in on the rest later.
