Today has gone really well, in fact it has made the last few days all worth it.
1. They hired a new guy in the repro area (printing/copying), for the last two weeks I have had a crush on him. Granted I haven’t had the courage to talk to him at all during the last two weeks. Today I actually made the effort, and poof no more attraction. This helps because now I am more focused on everything that I need to get done instead of constantly making special trips to the repro area just so I could look at him. I am trying very hard to stick to my vow of not dating anyone at work again.
2. My meeting went very well at Pierce County. The meeting was with Pierce County’s Development Engineering and also with Traffic Division (public works and utilities). They didn’t have any issues and I didn’t either; it went very smoothly.
3. I am excited for this weekend. I think it will be a lot of fun… it is going to be fun regardless of what we do. I am excited for the Lion King, to play and beat Gauntlet, dinner, and any Halloween parties plus movies that we go to.
